Saying goodbye to Flickr…
There was a time when Flickr was the hot thing in town, it was the go to place for photos, it was the place we stored and shared out visual memories…and then came a buy out by Yahoo (dear god no), the rise of Facebook and lately the new kids on the block like Instagram.
Poor old Flickr looked like the cool kid from another age…and so it was. Today I finally put my account to rest, deleted it, consigned it to personal history. And I didn’t even feel a twinge of digital nostalgia. Says it all really…
